Christmas Party!!
Who: EVERYONE!! Taisei sent out a mass text to EVERYONE IN HIS PHONE. And also just everyone he's seen in the past 2 weeks.
What: IT'S CHRISTMAS!!! And Taisei is throwing a party!
When: The Saturday before Christmas. Jiro and Taro get home at around 2 pm, party starts at 4 pm.
Where: TAISEI'S APARTMENT. Also, incidentally, Jiro and Taro's apartment. (They don't really know this is happening.)
Warnings: ALCOHOL. And mistletoe.
Taisei bounces up and down, which is a little bit of a hazard to everything around him since the apartment is barely big enough for a lethargic Taisei, let alone an excited one.
He can't help it though! He'd finally managed to get everything together for the Christmas party he'd been planning for MONTHS - well, weeks - well, at least the last week and a half or so - and it had all come together beautifully. There were snacks, and decorations that he had spent the last couple hours putting up (and had only broken one of them in the process!), and enough alcohol to tranquilize a couple elephants set up on their counter-turned-bar, so he really didn't see how this party could turn out as anything other than INCREDIBLY AWESOME.
Taisei was just beginning to consider heading back into his room and changing into his party outfit - it wasn't going to be a fancy party by any means (oh no, what if people wore fancy clothes, though? He didn't want anyone to feel out of place!), but he'd finally managed to find that new This Guy jacket in his size last week and he'd been dying to wear it ever since.
And then he heard the footsteps on the stairs outside, and the jacket was entirely forgotten as Taisei jumped up and nearly knocked over a bucket of fried chicken in the process. "Jiro's home!" he yelled, probably loudly enough to be heard from outside (or down the street.)

"Wow Taisei it looks really great!...but uh, don't you think it's a bit much for just a small party?" He looked over at the food specifically, which would be enough to feed the three of them through Christmas and well into the New Year. Not to mention enough booze to give the three of them alcohol poisoning six times over. Yuudai would be crazy if he thought he wouldn't be having any of it.

He moved further into the apartment, stripping off his jacket as he did. The jacket draped over his arm for a second before it was tossed through the open door to the bedroom. "Hey Yuudai, do you want to toss your jacket in here too?"
no subject
Yuudai didn't really want to be here - ok a small part of him did, but that didn't make the fact that he was actually here any less stressful - yet Taisei had made an notable effort to personally invite him earlier that morning. For the third time. He even gave Yuudai some change for the fare home, which he absentmindedly fiddled with in his right hand. (He fought back a smile by turning it into a crude pout, something a bit more familiar.)
So he guessed that yeah, ok, since he wasn't really doing anything tonight anyway he might as ... well. At least it was just the group of them, any more people and there might be a problem. He hadn't been to an actual party since, what, that one time in secondary school? He blinked the thought away, not wanting to bring up bad memories so quickly, and shifted in his spot at the doorway.

After deliberating for a second, he hung the mistletoe above the entrance to the kitchen, then stood back and nodded decisively.
That done, he turned and bounded across the room in two strides and enveloped Yuudai in a hug. "Yuudai! Wow I'm so glad you came! I mean I know I asked you a bunch of times but you never really said if you would or not. I'm glad you're here~!"

His mouth twitched as Taisei hung the mistletoe over the kitchen. He knew Taisei was all about love and he understood his true intentions were to get a childish giggle or two pushing people together under it. Nausea overcame him when the thought struck: Did Taisei invite girls to this party? Specifically which girls? He opened his mouth to ask but was interrupted as Taisei attacked Yuudai with a hug. So he just stood there, waiting for the moment to be over, face green and head spinning with all the worst case scenarios of just how bad "a couple of other people" could be.

He then proceeded to push- no, more like carry his brother into the kitchen. Taro had wet a multitude of paper towels and began dabbing all over Jiro's face. "Are you feeling any better? Let me know if you need anything!"
no subject
"Y-You- n hhne--"
breathe damn it
"I-- eh mmh," he wrestled with the lump in his throat and tried taking a step back to give Taisei a hint. "Why," shit was that really his voice, "are you- you're hugging me, stop, stop hugging me-" His words came out a bit more malicious than intended but Yuudai needed whatever this was to stop as quickly as possible.

Taisei finally took notice of the fact that Jiro had been dragged into the kitchen and was looking decidedly sick, although part of that might have been the way Taro was fussing over him. He stopped short. "Oh my God, Jiro, are you okay?"
no subject
His eyes flickered back to Taisei. "I-I just want to know who you invited to this party." He gulped, expression turning a bit more serious, "Everyone you invited." He was starting to think that maybe giving Taisei the benefit of the doubt was a bad idea. Better to get it over with now then see what...unexpected guest walks through their door later.

It was just that he'd never thrown a Christmas party like this before, and it was so exciting that he wanted everyone to be here!
Besides, he hadn't invited that many people.
... Surely they wouldn't all show up, anyways.
(Taisei started preparing an extremely logical and convincing business-theory based argument for why this party was really definitely a good idea, seriously, Jiro, okay?)

He may have forgotten Yuudai was here. "Hey, uh, Yuudai. Do you want anything?" Taro moved into the living room, to face him better. "We can get some of this food ready, I'm sure."
no subject
"I'm just going to er...go...get changed," he muttered, shuffling sideways towards the bedroom. He didn't really think clothes were all that important but Taisei did and it was a good enough excuse to get some space for awhile. Take some time to mentally prepare for whatever was going down tonight.

But his ears still perked at 'coworkers.' Damn, this was going to be bigger than he thought. He might have to dip out early, tension was already starting to pulse through his veins and- oh hell no, if that bitchy lady shows up he's definitely walking straight out the door.
He managed to also dress completely not for the occasion. Not that ... he really cared. But. Everyone else was going to be getting into their fancy little party outfits and Yuudai was sitting here in a goddamn sweatshirt and ... He picked at the discolored patch of cloth that had been (lovingly) sewn onto his cargo pants and sighed.
"Uhh," he responded to Taro, regarding his question. "What do you have ..." He figured he might as well smuggle some food before ditching.

He looked back at Yuudai. "Does any of that sound good?" Taro hoped that there would be something he'd like.
