Chie shivered in the chill wind, and glanced skywards. "I think it's snowing!" As she spoke, a single flake settled on her flushed cheek, disappearing instantly. "Isn't it festive, Mori?"
She juggled her handbag nervously from hand to hand, staring at the apartment door. It had been surprisingly easy to find despite Taisei's rather garbled directions - at least, assuming this was the right place. There was lurid tinsel taped all around the doorframe, however, and she could hear loud music emanating from inside, so she was pretty sure. Hesitantly she raised her hand to ring the doorbell, suddenly wondering why she was feeling nervous.
Quickly she glanced over her shoulder at Mori. "This will be fun! I haven't been to a proper party in ages!"
Again she raised her hand to the doorbell, and then paused. "What was Jiro's brother called again?" She couldn't remember, and she didn't want to come across as rude.
